For this eight release M>O>S recordings found Gerd, and Gerd found renewed inspiration in the love of his life: Chicago House Music. “The Houze Vectors” contains three highly uplifting and raw jackin’ tracks, taking it back to the roots of House Music and lifting it to new and unexplored levels.
“We bring u muzik” is a solid and melodic acid chaser with a driving baseline and powerful vocals by s-D-o, a talented vocalist from Chicago. This track also comes as instrumental. The flipside contains “O-zone”, a raw, analogue, abstract and funky track, bringing an irresistible rhythmic Chicago-House-shuffle to a higher ground echoing the roughest sounds of Mike Dunn, Steve Poindexter and Tyree.
Gerd is one of Holland’s most intriguing producers of electronic music. Since the early 90’s he did an enormous amount of high quality releases, collaborations and remixes on labels such as Kirk Degiorgio’s ART, Plink Plonk, Plus 8 and Music Man. Pure and highly effective Jackin’ energy!
