It all started in the zoo.... Comrade Newworldaquarium invited Aroy Dee and Ra H to the infamous Amsterdam Artis zoo. While observing mother nature's finest rarities, the idea for this EP was born. How wonderful life can be! This EP brings three times dirty rough underground house business from the man Morphosis aka Ra H. While the first track 'Cetrik' is drenched in funk and mysterie, 'Flash' is an rough and under-cooled Omar S-styled track. Last track 'Round One' sounds like Chicago House meets Industrial: Jacking uplifting beats with a raw industrial atmosphere.

cetrik is pimpy and sexy, shuffling mind music, perfect to my late morning sets at berghain!

Cetrik is the one. Tremendous atmosphere, tight groove and really intriguing use of improvisational non-western folk motifs in the melodic structuring.

torn between cetrik and round one. Not for all sets. But the right ones, the tracks will sound 'special'..

Like the offbeat feel of Cetrik, reminds me of Terrence Dixon. Like the raw ruggedness of Flash and the ol' school stuttering of Round One. All 3 will get played, can't pick a fave. Thanks again. Andrew

Cetrik is one weird misfit of a track, it shouldn't work but of course it does, this will be great for late night radio and of course perfect for the Rokerij. It doesn't remind of a Giraffe though..... ;-)
Norman Nodge (MDR) (Berlin) wrote
at 9:18AM on November 27th, 2008
Strange but strong stuff, just like Ra H´s stuff on Morphine Doser - true underground music! For me it´s especially "Cetrik".

San Proper wrote

I really like the new release of Morphosis, it's raw and dirty with warm mud, just the way i like it, filthy swinging grooves with an industrial sauce of electricity cables and motor-oil. Good work.
Brent Roozendaal (DriftOmTeDansen) (Amsterdam) wrote

original raw sounds that blow you away. Cetrik and flash are my favourites. When you drop this on the right moment, people will go totally mad. Sick stuff. Thanks!

Cetrik is just freaky stuff - a real standout but an acquired taste. Round One has a great disjointed, jacking feel to it. Flash is the least remarkable - but I like those background weird, hi pitched ringtones... A unique EP.
Rene Passet (Dj Broadcast / Oor / Kindamuzik.net) (Den Haag) wrote
at 4:11PM on November 20th, 2008
Cetrik is a welcome sandstorm that will clear the minds of minimal dopeheads the world over. A truly original track that will stand out in any dj-set. I can see the dj potential of Flash but prefer the stripped down raw energy of Round One.
Will O'Brien (SUB-SCAPE) (Antwerp) wrote

Sven VT (Berlin) wrote

Dj Deep (Deeply Rooted House) (Paris) wrote

Morphosis kicks ass! Always has, always will do I guess. So one heck of a move from M>O>S by getting this guy onboard ;) Love the rawness in all three tracks but Flash is the winner here, acid madness made in a galaxy far, faaar away…ace.
Anthony Shakir (Shake / Frictional) (Michigan) wrote
at 2:20PM on November 20th, 2008
cetrik sounds mad at something or somebody. slightly crazy. Flash sounds all grown up and mature. cool will play these tracks
Conforce (Transcendent) (Leeuwarden) wrote

Cetrik. Awsome and freaky track.. Love the melodic eastern influences :-) I can see myself go mad on this track. Although the confusing drive it still has enough dancing potential for the after hours. Surprising.
