'future shock' is a killer. heard this in his livepa, very happy that it is now getting a release. you have to love redshape, there are few artists who manage to produce such consistently high quality music.

my review for Groove ... Best Alexis Redshape Future Shock (Delsin 084/Rush Hour) Auch hier erstaunt wieder die Energie und die Konsequenz, mit der Redshape über die formalen Grenzen von Detroit-Techno und Techno hinweggeht. Die drei Stücke sind mit ihren komplexen Grooves und den kaum aufeinander bezogenen Sounds sehr offen, trotzdem arbeiten sie aus einem einzigen, gebündelten Antrieb heraus. Besonders toll ist der abstrakte, stehende Ton in "Future Shock", der zwischen einem Erdungsrauschen und einer eingefrorenen Acid-Bassline liegt. "Kung Fu" steht zwischen einer bezaubernden Larry Heard-Nummer und einer sperrigen, unversöhnlichen Drum & Bass-Platte auf einem Label wie Reinforced. Tolle Platte. AW

Ooh yeah, Redshape has did it again. I particularly dig the sounds of "Kung Fu", and the Detroit vibe of "Manhattan". I have to get this one as soon as it's out. Big one as always from the man with the red face :)
