Imported from Erect Lab, Japan! As a graffiti artist, Boris Tellegen was known as DELTA, his “Graphite Ann Aimee sleeves and more” collection is now on sale. At the heart of this 64 pages book is the record sleeve artwork released on Ann Aimee.
Boris Tellegen, also known as Delta, is one of the pioneers of graffiti in Amsterdam. An innovator of 3D shapes in street painting, he developed an immediately recognizable style that is evocative of futuristic architecture. Trained in industrial design, today Tellegen experiments with a wide range of media to create his paintings, illustrations, sculptures and installations. Though Boris Tellegen may not write in the street as much today, his current work borrows greatly from his very geometric style of lettering. The characters composing his graffiti still remain the foundation of his drawings, even if they sometimes undergo a complete transformation, to the point of becoming virtually abstract shapes. One of his favorite themes, that of growth and decay, thus borrows heavily from his past work. The field of his artwork has now expanded to include several other domains, like video games, toys, or corporate logo design.
