'Dead' is most definitely ALIVE! Can't wait to play this out.
on Mobach - Cold Rain
at 12:04PM on May 17th, 2013
Well, well , well...this sounds interesting. Love the fuzzy and baked sound of the album with tracks like 'Orbiting The City', 'Ganesh Particles' and 'Femtometer' standing out on first listen. A very promising debut album indeed.
on Erdbeerschnitzel - Cushion EP
at 6:33PM on May 9th, 2013
This whole release is very much my cup of tea. Great work.
on R-A-G - Vacuum EP
at 6:28PM on May 9th, 2013
Vacuum (Ignition Mix) is the star of the show here. Quality Techno.
on Neville Watson - Songs To Elevate Pure Hearts
at 8:54PM on April 25th, 2013
Dangerous stuff here! Mr.Watson reminding us why analog equipment is so revered. Standout tracks on first listen are 'Songs to Elevate Pure Hearts', 'Son of House', 'Everything I Know About House (I learned from Facebook)' & 'A Better Life'. Will be supporting this and listening to it many times over. Much respect due.
on Mystica Tribe - Stars Are Mine
at 4:27PM on April 20th, 2013
Stars are Mine is the best of the bunch for me.
on Vernon Felicity - Dawning EP
at 11:37AM on April 12th, 2013
Nice, slow and deep, exactly how I like my........music :) After a couple listens 'Breaking Silence' is the killer track here for me with 'Wrong Notion' a close second. Mr.Bunnik can't really do any wrong can he?
on Mike Dehnert - Placide EP
at 1:46AM on April 5th, 2013
Mike Dehnert on form and doing what he does best.
on R-Zone - R-Zone 02
at 1:40AM on April 5th, 2013
I try not to use the word 'epic' too much but that's the only way to describe R-ZONE 02. Massive, massive tunes that hark right back to those special days of yesteryear.
on Ike Release - Dream Sequencer EP
at 1:29AM on April 5th, 2013
Cosmic Supreme & Westview are my faves. Love the emotion these tunes convey. Support here for sure.
on Herva - What I Feel EP
at 1:20AM on April 5th, 2013
Definitely follows it's own unique set of rules and is all the better for it. Rough, rugged and raw. Just the way I like it.
on D-Ribeiro - The Circus EP
at 6:44PM on April 4th, 2013
lOVE the whole EP. Good to hear new talent coming through and Syncom Data continues to go from strength to strength.
BIIIIIIGGGGG!
on R-Zone - R-Zone 01
at 1:46PM on March 13th, 2013
Feeling all three tracks here and will be playing these to death, especially 'Houz Nation'.
on Makam & Roch Dadier - Lost Archives - Part II
at 1:39PM on March 13th, 2013
'Lion King' smacks it! Job well done.
on John Beltran - Amazing Things
at 1:34PM on March 13th, 2013
This is not an album you put on and flick through then spit out 10 minutes later. It is something you have to play from start to finish to fully appreciate. An album that exudes quality and vision. Excellent work again from Mr. Beltran.
on Yør - Sublimation EP
at 5:27PM on February 7th, 2013
Definitely feeling 'Gravity' and will rinse this one out on many a set.
on Perseus Traxx - Tales From The Night Sky - Part 1
at 5:21PM on February 7th, 2013
Poseidon's Monster is no joke!!!!! Return to Seriphos is equally as effective, albeit slightly mellower??? Excited to hear what else Perseus has coming out this year and beyond.
on Conforce - Time Dilation EP
at 5:16PM on February 7th, 2013
The production on this is first class. Will have to listen a few times before I decide on a fav pick of the bunch but it's always a pleasure listening to Conforce on repeat. Timeless music you can return to time & time again.
on Bleak - Origins Of Chaos
at 5:13PM on February 7th, 2013
Sixteen crude is a monster of a track. The flipside isn't bad either. Definite support here.
on Skudge & Different World - Lost Archives - Part I
at 4:39PM on January 13th, 2013
Very nice stuff. Skudge are killing me on this.
on Ma Spaventi - The Jungle / Insanity
at 4:32PM on January 13th, 2013
It's all about 'The Jungle'. A track that will tear up many a dancefloor for many years to come.
on Various Artists - Field 09
at 4:30PM on January 13th, 2013
Another worthwhile release with 4 quality tracks. Crystal Maze absolutely kill it on this one!!! Definitely has my support.
on Low Jack - Free Pyjamas
at 1:16PM on November 21st, 2012
Free Pyjamas is music to have angry sex to. The White Towel is what you listen to afterwards. Suffice to say, I like angry sex :)
on Sawlin - Eviment
at 1:11PM on November 21st, 2012
Consistently good music from Sawlin. 'Eviment' is the standout for me.
on Yan Cook - 2x2
at 3:04PM on November 8th, 2012
Hard stuff. 2X2 definitely stands out from the crowd although 'Rhomb' is no joke. Both will get spun in my sets, no doubt.
on Mike Dehnert - Umgangston EP
at 3:00PM on November 8th, 2012
Mike is the man. Nuff said. 'Refillable' won't leave the crate!
on Chicago Skyway - Heavens & Angels EP
at 4:14PM on October 22nd, 2012
Top notch music here. Extended mix is perfection. Love it.
on Dj Yoav B. - Energize / Gemini
at 4:10PM on October 22nd, 2012
Both still sound great. Energize is looped headnodding badness & Gemini reminds shows more of the mad scientist brain of Yoav B. Superb re-release.
on Seawash - Pantomime EP
at 5:20PM on October 7th, 2012
'Free Alternatives' is deep. Love it.
on Redshape - Square
at 5:19PM on October 7th, 2012
This will take time to seep in but production sounds excellent on 1st listen and some interesting parts in 'Revolution' 'Enter The Volt' & 'The Playground'. Redshape is a guy that warrants repeated listening and I'm sure there's a few more gems in there. Impressive as always
on Ksoul & Muteoscillator - Aphrology EP
at 5:06PM on October 7th, 2012
Aphrology orginal version is something that won't leave my crate. Top notch tune that hits the right spots for me. Respects due
2 sides 2 every story is the jam! Bad, bad, bad track. Much love from me indeed.
on Unbroken Dub - Checkpoint EP
at 5:02PM on October 7th, 2012
Impressive stuff. Love all three tracks and will show support. I Want To Make This Louder/Det Special's are my faves.
on Innerspace Halflife - Wind/Phazzled
at 1:32PM on July 1st, 2012
2 very strong pieces here with one eye on the past & the other firmly on the dancefloor. Phazzled is the one the grabs the attention here, and rightly so, but 'Wind' rewards multiple listens before you truly appreciate it's effectiveness and rugged charm. Another very strong MOS release and another indication of the vibrancy within electronic music right now.
on Trevor Deep Jr - Keep On!
at 1:03PM on June 20th, 2012
These will definitely remain in the crate. 'Still Raw' & 'Back 2 Jersey' are both excellent tracks.
on D'Marc Cantu - A New World
at 12:59PM on June 20th, 2012
'Mobile Communication' is ridiculously good! The album is far from typical, eschews the rules & as a result will stand the test of time. Great work!
on Delta Funktionen - Traces
at 12:55PM on June 20th, 2012
'Traces', 'Utopia' 'Redemption' are the killer tracks for me on first listen. Overall a good, solid album that warrants repeated listening. Definite support here.
on Andy Vaz feat. Niko Marks - Don't Lose Your Mind
at 12:47PM on June 20th, 2012
The vocal mix is the better track for me.
on Claro Intelecto - Reform Club
at 10:22AM on April 19th, 2012
I knew this was going to be brilliant and guess what? It is! Claro continues to forge his own path in the music world with an album that warrants listening from beginning to end every time you put it on. Inspiring artist and an inspiring album.
on Yør - Modern Slaves Of Contemporary Contexts EP
at 1:12PM on March 8th, 2012
Very different, breaks the rules & follows it's own path. I love it. ABCM is a monster!!!
on Sawlin - Techno Dumping
at 1:09PM on March 8th, 2012
Techno Dumping & Neid Auf Vacuum are my favs here, although Boring Feels is top notch as well. All will be great tools in the box.
on Gerry Read - Yeh Come Dance
at 1:03PM on March 8th, 2012
What a way to start on Delsin! Crawlspace & Crooked are definitely the standout tracks for me. Rough, rugged & raw.
on San Proper & Aroy Dee - Perfume
at 5:07PM on January 16th, 2012
Like this a lot. Aroy's dub of Perfume is so sublime. San Proper's groove of Usher has my head bopping and both will go straight into the crate. 2012 has started with a bang!!!
on MK & The 7th Plain - The MKappella / Lost
at 5:03PM on January 16th, 2012
MK the original DON! Nice track that still sounds fresh enough for todays listeners. 'Lost' is a timeless piece of music that shows just how talented Luke is. Excellent, excellent release that educates as well as makes you dance.
on Hazylujah - Too Many Ghosts
at 4:58PM on January 16th, 2012
On 1st listen 'Dream Logic' works the best. Very promising work and hope to see more of this outfit in 2012.
on Claro Intelecto - Second Blood
at 4:56PM on January 16th, 2012
Deep, warm & another killer release from Mr.Intelecto. 'Voyeurism' is probably my fave followed by 'Second Blood'. Good stuff.
on Ma Spaventi & Aroy Dee - Wrecking / Mr. Floyd
at 4:53PM on January 16th, 2012
When 'Wrecking' gets going it's a beast! More of the same please :)
on Perseus Traxx - Coded Emotion
at 6:14PM on November 26th, 2011
Impressive stuff. Love 'What's Your Sign'. Pure sultry deepness.
on The Poetic Painter M - Marie's Transcendance
at 6:12PM on November 26th, 2011
Solid work. Chicago Skyway's rework #1 is the one for me.
on Various Artists - Field 06
at 6:10PM on November 26th, 2011
Delta Funktionen brings the fire once again!
on Morphosis - Too Far (Dettmann's Definitions)
at 6:07PM on November 26th, 2011
Dettman definition #2 is on point. Good stuff.
on Various Artists - Inertia #4
at 1:48PM on November 7th, 2011
Cosmin TRG & Sascha Rydell steal the show here with a couple tantalising head nodders. Quality!
on Various Artists - Inertia #3
at 1:46PM on November 7th, 2011
A killer series that I don't want to stop! Mike Dehnert is incredible as per usual and the Ozka track sounds chunky and dirty at the same time. Love it.
on Yør - Rave EP
at 1:43PM on November 7th, 2011
Deep and mysterious, just how I like my music. Every track is a killer but 2712 will be the one I'll constantly reach for. Top quality release.
on Various Artists - Inertia #2
at 8:45PM on October 29th, 2011
Lovely stuff. Sigha & Marcelus really came through on this. Redshape provides his twisted funk like only he can & Area Forty One take it super dark and down the rabbit hole. This is a great start to the 'Inertia' series!!!!
on Various Artists - Inertia #1
at 8:41PM on October 29th, 2011
Lord have mercy! Killer ep. Close call between Delta Funktionen & Peter Van Hoesen for standout track but I have to give it to Paul on this one. Roman Lindau & Sawlin are in no way weak links either! A lovely release that is strong on all fronts.
on Conforce - Escapism
at 8:38PM on October 29th, 2011
An excellent album with a variety of ideas and solid production. Original and well put together. A+ from me. More please Sir!
on - How Are We Doing?
at 11:58AM on October 3rd, 2011
Skilled quality. Simple as that. 2 strong tracks that will stand the test of time. Consider this one a favourite.
on The Please - 's-Gravendijkwal EP
at 11:56AM on October 3rd, 2011
Chunky and thick, just how I like my music and other things....Abodigital Dishwasher kills it for me with Sampler Crack a close 2nd. Very promising start for The Please I feel.
on Loud-E - Peppermint EP
at 11:52AM on October 3rd, 2011
Not what I was expecting at all :) Pandemonium is the one for me on here. Coolness personified in one warm and fuzzy disco edit.
on Redshape - Son Of A...
at 10:53PM on July 30th, 2011
Yeaah Boy!!! Redshape definitely on form again. Love the raw intensity of Son Of A.. and the melancholic drawl of Kracken's Game. Quality stuff all round.
on Juju & Jordash - Juju & Jordash
at 12:16PM on September 19th, 2009
Interesting stuff, reminds me of Legowelt in places but not in a copycat way just with the melodic programming of the synths and those lovely arpeggios and old skool drum machine beats which, may I add, I absolutely love! My fav tracks are 'Time Slip Remix', 'Deep Blue Meanies' & 'Jazzy Trance' all showcasing some serious talent from these guys. I'll be keeping a close eye on JuJu & Jordash as this LP is a mouth watering sign of things to come. Respects most definitely due.
on Redshape - The Dance Paradox
at 11:50AM on September 19th, 2009
A paradox indeed! My favs are 'Dark & Sticky', 'Dead Space Mix' and 'Seduce Me'. Great production skills as always from Mr. Redshape and a varied styling of tracks on here. Will take a few more listens to fully appreciate but a solid effort nonetheless.
on Delta Funktionen - Electromagnetic Radiation Part II
at 10:47AM on September 19th, 2009
This is right up my alleyway. Warm, thick, chunky beats and well crafted layers of sound. This will be a release that will probably never leave my record box/hard drive. It's timeless music made with love and if Delta keeps going this way he'll be a very well known man in next to no time. Brilliant.
on Newworldaquarium - The Force (Ame Remixes)
at 10:40AM on September 19th, 2009
Nearly lost my mind when I heard Ame were remixing NWAQ and boy were these remixes were worth the wait!!! That chugging, driving vibe on the main mix has my head nodding at frenetic pace while the beatless 'alternative' version conjurs up visions of 1970 sci-fi movies with schizophrenic robots and otherworldly visuals combined. Make no mistake this is quality music that isn't afraid to take you on a journey to paradise and back. Thank you Delsin, Ame and of course NWAQ.
on Various Artists - Delsin 2.0 Remix EP1
at 10:26PM on March 6th, 2009
hmnnnn, can't quite decide what mix I luv more... Redshape keeps it typically 'phat' and 'funky' as only he knows how while Quince just kills it with a dubbed out vibe and ultra crisp rythmn track. Will be playing both on numerous occasions in the future I'm sure. Peace
on Various Artists - Delsin 2.0 Remix EP2
at 10:22PM on March 6th, 2009
The Shed remix is interesting and quirky and showcases his signature style admirably while the Steve Rachmad remix is vintage Techno ticking all the boxes in the right way and reminds you of just how badass a producer he is. Very good package once again from Delsin and keeping the standards high for 2009. Respects due.
on Delta Funktionen - Electromagnetic Radiation Part I
at 2:12PM on January 10th, 2008
I like the simple head nodding groove on 'Estuary' and can't help but love the warm, dubbed out sounds on top.Reminds me of a mix between Monolake and Deepchord with a touch of Maurizio thrown in. Nebula's a great dj tool that will work on many a dancefloor around the globe.Toe tapping and infectious although not hugely original. All round a promising start and I can't wait to hear what's next from Delta Funktionen.
on James Kumo - Kumomusic Vol 1
at 1:44AM on December 18th, 2007
Fluid's got a deep, bumping and dark vibe that works well but 45 Days is the one for me with it's BIG peaktime full on sound. Can see that really going off in the clubs Very nice.
on Djinxx - Prohibition EP
at 5:03PM on November 17th, 2007
Love the future retro vibes on Revolver, sounds like Kraftwerk meets Art of Noise meets Carl Craig while doing some lsd. An absolute must have track. The Foreigner is a great comedown track at the end of a long night of intense raving.Simple yet intriguing arrangement with a groove you can't help but nod your head to. Impressive.
on Traxx - Photon / Solara
at 6:20PM on October 26th, 2007
Oh Yes! Can't get enough of that dirty, acid vibe.Like this a lot! Full support from me.
on Chymera - Hundulu EP
at 7:18PM on October 19th, 2007
Typical, uplifting & amazing melodic work from Chymera once again. The remix takes it into peaktime overdrive & does so with great effect. Seriously impressive 12" and one that won't leave the record box for a longtime!!!
on Newworldaquarium - The Dead Bears
at 9:23PM on October 5th, 2007
An interesting lp that deserves kudos for attempting to take the listener on a neverending journey through sound and makes a change from the collection of dancefloor 12";s that so many albums are today. N.Y./Trespass/Kirana's Lement are the standout tracks for me. Full support from me and much respects due to NWAQ on this brave, forward thinking lp.
